I was born in Topeka, Kansas and raised just north of Kansas City, MO in the growing town of Platte City, MO. In high school my father was transferred to a position in Des Moines, IA and my introduction to the hunting industry started here with my first job working for Harold Adam at Doc’s Dog Kennels in Adel, IA at the age of 15. I moved back to Missouri to finish high school with my childhood friends, but the hunting industry was already firmly rooted by this point. After graduating high school in 1999, I was accepted into Southeastern Illinois College where I received two Associates degrees one in Game Preserve Management and another in Shooting Complex Management graduating in 2001. Through SIC I received an internship at Joshua Creek Ranch, in Boerne, TX. And my love affair with the state of Texas was started. After my internship I decided to go back to school where in 2005 I received my Bachelors of Business Administration from Park University in Parkville Missouri. After finishing my degree, it was my pleasure to guide quail and big game hunts for Sea Island Resort on the coast of Georgia. In 2008, I was recruited by Detail Company Adventures as a consultant for sporting properties around the world. It was my great pleasure at this point in my life to travel to many exotic hunting and fishing locations, memories I will cherish the rest of my professional career, by the time I left DCA, I had the position of Vice President managing a sales team and office staff.

In September of 2018, I came to work for the WJG & Associates, and have taken over Texas and Louisiana South of I-20. . My responsibilities include working directly with manufactures to identify new business opportunities within my territory. While developing sales and marketing plans for the Texas, Louisiana areas, collaborating with manufactures to create new and innovative products to bring to market. It is also paramount to develop lasting relationships with buyers and distributors to facilitate selling product. Whether it is a retail store, distributor, or the manufacturer; it is my priority to work hard to help expand their business.

Having worked in several sectors of the hunting and fishing industry, I am extremely blessed to have been a part of some wonderful organizations in an industry that is truly a passion. My professional goal? Understanding the hunting and fishing industry from all levels and every angle.
Living in New Braunfels, TX I am positioned on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, in my free time I am hunting or fishing somewhere in the world or floating the Guadalupe looking for trout or bass on the fly.
