Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. At the age of 7, I was introduced to the hunting and archery world through Great Lakes Archery and Distributing. As I was growing up my parents taught me how to hunt, fish and trap. I harvested my first deer at the age of 13. In 1985, I graduated from Austintown Fitch High School and decided to go into the US Marines for a period of 4 years. In addition to my time in the Marines, I also worked security for Price Security. My responsibilities were to secure all entrances and perimeters of constructions sites. After being honorably discharged from the Marines, I attended Youngstown State University and worked for Cimenello Construction. Some of my responsibilities were operating heavy equipment, roofing, drywall, landscaping and to manage work crews at designated construction sites. In the spring of 1993, I was offered a position with William J. Gartland and Associates, where I was trained to become a full time sales representative. I married my wife, Laurie, in 1993 and have three beautiful children; Billy, Kelsey, and Marissa.
